The goal of this department is to work on a psychology that is not reductionist, but that approaches the person in an integral way, considering their biological, psychological and spiritual dimensions. The humanities subjects that are taught make a difference, and this can be seen in the students when they do their internships.
It has a psychology program where students acquire the skills to see their patients as people who suffer and require support. They understand that the human being is a bio-psycho-spiritual unit and have respect for their dignity. San Pablo students are trained with a critical sense and a spirit of service.
In postgraduate studies, it offers Master’s degrees in Psychotherapy and Psychoeducational Intervention in Neurodevelopmental and Learning Disorders. In addition to the diploma in Organizational Psychology and specialty courses, such as Assessment and Intervention Techniques in cases of Sexual Abuse, Borderline Personality Disorder, and others.
In projection and service to the community, it provides training to teachers and parents in schools, and free attention to the population. This department has an indexed journal with two annual editions. In addition, several professors are researchers registered in Concytec, with competitions won.
