In the Architecture and Urbanism career, we train architects capable of materializing buildings that meet the needs of their inhabitants, while respecting their habitat and valuing their history and identity.
These professionals will lead transformations of urban spaces to enhance people’s quality of life, through creative and sustainable projects, utilizing innovative technologies and respecting the environment.
Architecture and Urbanism professionals from Universidad Católica San Pablo will be able to work in both public and private institutions in the design, execution, and construction of architectural projects. They will also be able to develop urban plans and carry out restoration and maintenance interventions on heritage monuments. Other career opportunities for these professionals include working in architectural research and teaching.
Graduates of the Architecture and Urbanism program at Universidad Católica San Pablo will have the ability to propose creative and innovative solutions to the habitat-related challenges of contemporary society, with a humanistic, ethical, aesthetic approach that respects cultural and natural heritage.

Me gradué de Ingeniero Electrónico por la UNSA. Tengo una maestría y doctorado en Sistemas Mecatrónicos por la Universidad de Brasilia. He publicado artículos y conferencias en revistas indexadas. Participé como investigador en proyectos del Consejo Nacional de Desarrollo Científico y Tecnológico de Brasil. Desde el 2016 trabajo en la San Pablo como docente e investigador. Mis áreas de investigación se centran en: sistemas mecatrónicos, control automático, sistemas embebidos, procesamiento de señales, robótica, instrumentación, sistemas aeroespaciales, entre otros.
Soy ingeniero civil y maestro en Ingeniería Estructural por la Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México-UNAM. Mi especialidad es el diseño por desempeño sísmico de puentes. Durante mi estancia en México, formé parte del Instituto de Ingeniería de la UNAM. En el 2013 laboré como supervisor estructural durante el proceso constructivo del Puente Chilina, y formé parte del equipo de diseño estructural del puente Jorge Polar, el más alto de Arequipa. En el 2014 empecé a trabajar como docente en la Escuela de Ingeniería Civil de la San Pablo, la cual luego dirigí entre el 2018 y el 2021.
Soy arquitecto especializado en el desarrollo e investigación de nuevos materiales y sistemas constructivos para su aplicación en la industria de la construcción. He realizado estancias científicas en el Centro de Investigación, Tecnología e Innovación (CITIUS) de la Universidad de Sevilla (España), en el Laboratorio de Materiales y Sistemas Estructurales (LMSE) de la Facultad de Arquitectura de la Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) y en la Facultad de Arquitectura de la Universidad Santo Tomás de Medellín (Colombia). He sido ponente en congresos nacionales e internacionales en Reino Unido, Portugal y México. Soy inventor de 5 patentes en proceso de otorgamiento, autor de un libro e investigador Renacyt.
