Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering

This department aims to promote the creation and consolidation of professional schools in line with regional demand, as well as with the guiding principles of San Pablo. It also seeks to strengthen academic centers of high scientific and technological level with a Catholic vision and national and international reference.

It has two professional careers: Electronic and Communications Engineering, as well as Mechatronics Engineering. In postgraduate studies, it offers a master’s degree in Internet of Things. In addition to diploma courses in Data Engineering for Industry, Cybersecurity in Data Networks, Networks, Automation and Process Control and others.

In research, it has the Center for Research and Innovation in Electronics and Telecommunications (CIET), which is focused on the production of knowledge and technological development, through the exploration of innovative theories and methods whose results improve the quality of life of people in the region and the country.

In service and projection to society, this academic department seeks to offer services that society and industry demand from the area, as well as to disseminate the activities organized by the professional schools, in addition to supporting all possible educational and technological needs of the community in general.
