Universidad Catolica San Pablo, considers research as an essential task and a driving force of university life. In this regard, the Research Office has the mission of promoting and encouraging research activity across all programs and departments. This activity is at the heart of the university because it strengthens both undergraduate and postgraduate programs, and it reflects how the institution serves the community.
Research is a core activity at the university, and the Research Office works to enhance the development of more and higher-quality research projects, as well as to establish policies and guidelines that enable this to happen through organizing competitions, funding opportunities, and other activities.
In the past five years, UCSP has funded around 54 research projects with internal resources, while another 29 projects have been funded externally by national and international institutions. These projects span the university’s various areas of specialization and aim to make specific contributions to regional challenges and societal development.
